Title: Pre-wire Technician / Electrical Operations Technician
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Shift: 1st & 3rd Shift - M-F. Voluntary Weekends
Compensation: Pre-Wire Tech - ($20-$25/hr) / Electrical Ops Tech - ($26 - $30/hr)

Position Description:
Pre-Wire Technicians and Electrical Operations Technicians assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, sub-assemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. They fabricate electrical sub-assemblies per detailed instructions, wire custom panels per detailed schematics, and hard wire equipment per drawings. The Techs will inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for the operation and record results. They will also perform pre-wiring of motors, photo eyes, sensors, measuring wheels and terminate wiring at the control panel. They will perform electrical start-up and troubleshooting as required.

Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a High School diploma or equivalent. Candidates should also have an electrical background, the more experience determines the role of Pre-wire Technician or Electrical Operations Technician. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Low-voltage residential or anyone with cable wiring experience have seen success in these roles.
