Pricing Analyst

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Corporate Office - Huntsville, AL)

Description:

Seeking a motivated and experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Pricing Analyst works with Business Development, Finance, Contracts, and/or Proposal Manager(s) when developing cost/pricing and responding to time sensitive requirements of Governmental, Federal Prime, and Commercial clients' Requests for Quote, Requests for Pricing, or other cost/pricing related submissions.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Hands on lead of the proposal pricing process.
  • Assist in development of the pricing strategy, identifying risks, and interpreting requirements of Federal Government solicitations (e.g., RFPs, RTEPs, RFIs).
  • Develops prime and subcontract cost/pricing proposals compliant for both government and commercial opportunities.
  • Develops sanitized and un-sanitized cost/pricing narratives/volumes of proposals, to include all required descriptions of direct and indirect costs and the proposed pricing buildup process
  • Develops Excel spreadsheets to meet the Government/Prime/Commercial client's cost/pricing requirements
  • Support the compliance and timely submission of the proposal pricing by managing and controlling all proposal pricing activities against the proposal schedule and the RFP's requirements.
  • Work with executives, various divisions and management teams, BD personnel, stakeholders, and partners to provide proposal support.
  • Respond rapidly to RFP amendments and implement required changes to proposal pricing.
  • Manage multiple proposal pricing tasks with sometimes rapid turnaround deadlines.
  • Support other Proposal related activities as needed.
  • Support continual proposal pricing process improvement.
  • Ensures the cost proposal is fully integrated with technical proposal.
  • Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations

Required Skills:
  • Experience developing pricing strategy, identifying risks, and interpreting requirements of Federal Government solicitations (e.g., RFPs, RTEPs, RFIs)
  • Ability to develop prime and subcontract cost/pricing proposals compliant for both government and commercial opportunities
  • Ability to respond rapidly to RFP amendments and implement required changes to proposal pricing
  • Proposal experience to include coordinating proposals, developing content, and managing the entirety of the proposal pricing process
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with clients and teammates to develop winning proposals.
  • Must have excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Able to obtain a security clearance, if needed.

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Knowledgeable of US Government contracts and a variety of contract types (CPFF, T&M, and Fixed price, etc.)
  • General understanding of indirect cost pools

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred; may consider other fields of study and equivalent job-related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years related proposal experience to include coordinating proposals, developing content, and managing the entirety of the proposal pricing process.
