The Department of Family & Community Medicine of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is currently accepting candidates for the position of outpatient Primary Care Physician at the Jefferson Health South Broad Street Family Medicine practice. The practice is located in South Philadelphia near Methodist Hospital, just minutes from Center City Philadelphia.
This position is for a full-time clinical faculty member at our South Broad location. It is a unique opportunity to join a supportive work environment serving a diverse, close-knit community in South Philadelphia.

Requirements: Qualified applicants will hold a MD or DO degree and be board certified, or eligible, in Family Medicine. Must have or obtain a PA medical license. This position is for a full-time clinical faculty member at our South Broad location. It is a unique opportunity to join a supportive work environment serving a diverse, close-knit community in South Philadelphia.
Responsibilities will include:
- Outpatient family medicine (currently limited to ages 12+)
- Treating 2-3 patients per hour with protected time for clinical administration (32 hours patient-facing care, 8 hours administrative time).
- Establishing and maintaining a panel of patients, managing chronic health conditions, acute conditions, and preventive care.
- Women's health visits, routine GYN exams, and LARCs if desired / credentialed.
- At-home telephone call 5-9PM once monthly in a large DFCM pool of call participants.
- Work as part of interprofessional team (including MA, behavioral health, social workers, population health specialists) that provides patient-centered care.
