Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements, including infrastructure, security, data, and application components.
  • Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of Azure services, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Cloud Strategy: Develop and execute a robust cloud strategy aligned with the company's goals, including migration plans, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, data scientists, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Security: Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to best practices for security, compliance, and governance, implementing necessary controls and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to maintain high availability and performance of cloud services.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and procedures.
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest Azure offerings, industry trends, and best practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our cloud capabilities.


Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Certifications: Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, AI/ML, IoT, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
