Principal Data Engineer

A leading finance firm based out of Boston is looking to hire an experienced and skilled data engineer. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise required to build and integrate Snowflake from scratch, proficiency with Python programming skills, and experience working on AWS.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
- 7+ years of professional experience as a data engineer
- Extensive knowledge about building databases using SQL; hands-on experience with Snowflake database would be preferred

Skills Required:

Building & Integrating Data Platforms - This role requires someone to possess excellent problem-solving capabilities that enable them to develop new strategies for integrating snowflakes into existing platforms seamlessly.

Python Programming Skills - Strong coding ability within python is necessary since this job demands creating ETL packages and managing large datasets proficiently.
Experience With Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Candidates must have prior work exposure utilizing various services offered by AWS like S3 storage buckets, EC2 instances etc., while deploying their solutions onto cloud infrastructure.
