Amazon Web Services is looking for an innovative, action-oriented, and analytic Finance Principal to lead the team responsible for partnering with our rack manufacturing commercial leaders. The Finance Principal will work closely with senior management and stakeholders across a variety of functions to own new initiatives, build planning tools and processes, and drive cost savings efforts.

Key job responsibilities

- Working closely with cross functional teams on new initiatives driving cost out of the Amazon Supply Chain

- Proactively identifying areas for process improvement and automation, identifying both issues and solutions

- Working with stakeholders to first define and document business requirements, and then prioritize and implement process improvements, ensuring controllership and scalability

- Driving a rigorous and proactive cadence of communications, keeping stakeholders informed on current statuses and engaged in key decisions

- Creating reporting and metrics to facilitate analyses driving data-driven decision making

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA, or CPA

- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

- Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

- 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
