Job description

Infosys is seeking a Principal Mulesoft Consultant. As a Principal Mulesoft Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of relevant Information Technology experience
• U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time
• Location for this position is Dallas,TX. The position may require travel and/or relocation to client location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience with Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform. Hands on experience on 3.9 version or above
• At least 6 years experience in Design and Architecture preferably in Mulesoft
• Able to interpret requirements to develop Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile process
• Make technology decisions related to Mulesoft environment
• Create Design Document addressing business paint points around integration leveraging Mulesoft Anypoint API platform.
• Create best practice documents on Mulesoft.
• Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.)
• Extensive coding experience with either Java/Spring or Node.js
• Understanding of differences between SOA and API design.
• Knowledge of Change & Incident Management process (CMRs, etc.)
• Work with client for new solutions and Automation ideas
• Knowledge of Design patterns, should be able to define API/Services as per client requirement

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face .
