The Seller Fees Team is hiring a Principal PMT to design the next generation of tools/services to help Sellers understand their economics and ensure 100% accuracy/transparency of every fee charged. The Fees systems are the way Amazon teams monetize their services for 2MM+ Selling Partners WW.

Key job responsibilities

As the Principal PMT, your key responsibilities will include:

- Defining a product vision, strategy, and roadmap to improve the end to end Seller experience.

- Generating buy-in for the product vision with leadership and partner teams.

- Creating and maintaining an optimized and logically sequenced roadmap.

- Translating customer experiences into clearly defined product requirements.

- Refine and develop metrics to track and quantify success in your domain.

- Managing prioritization and trade-offs to ensure delivery of a great customer experience.

- Anticipating and resolving strategic issues that impair the team's ability to deliver.

- Leading cross-functionally to ensure the product vision is implemented effectively.

A day in the life

You will work directly with a diverse set of experts within Fees org such as machine learning scientists, operations, user experience designers, engineers, and data analysts to identify the biggest opportunities/risks and address them. You will need to define and drive a product roadmap and make smart tradeoffs across your portfolio ensuring the greatest impact. You will have high visibility in the broader Selling Partner Services org.

About the team

The Fees org develops strategies and tools that enable third-party Sellers to offer Customers the Earth's largest selection at competitive prices, while maximizing long-term profit for Amazon. Our systems empower partner teams to launch and change fees in a manner that builds Seller trust, ensuring every transaction is accurately calculated and transparent. Our team is focused on delivering the suite of services which enable all Amazon teams to manage their fees; and the tools which enable Sellers to make informed economic decisions regarding fees.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
