The Selling Partner Dev Services (Spectrum) team is looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager-Technical (PM-T) to deliver world-class products and own the global end-to-end user experience and strategy. You will be responsible for leading the product development lifecycle for core Dev Service operational products and customer experience. The ideal candidate thinks big, dives deep, and moves fast to learn and build on behalf of our customers. This role has direct impact on hundreds of thousands of Selling Partners globally and the tools they use to grow their businesses.

You will design the future of how Selling Partners and Developers securely access and manage the use of data to power Selling Partner business efficiency and new opportunity discovery for our Developer network. This includes defining the API engagement lifecycle and building new access management systems for both Selling Partner and Developer customers.

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This includes a deep facility with data to define input and outcome measures, along with user experience and engagement success criteria. You will work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and operations teams throughout the Stores organization to enhance our customer experience globally. You will have a natural drive for customer experience simplicity, while thriving in a complex technical and business environment.

The Principal PM-T will be fluent in a range of strategic and analytical approaches to product and technical leadership, including the ability to build compelling value propositions, influence stakeholders, and provide clarity on complex systems and dynamics via rigorously refined written and verbal communication.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year vision for your product portfolio and the team

• Lead strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals.

• Work with most senior leaders across Amazon Stores, as well as science, engineering, and finance leaders.

• Deliver 3YP, Vision, PRFAQS, and BRD docs.

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle and deliver long-lasting solutions.

• Influence priorities and business strategy through quantitative and qualitative contributions.

• Interact directly with stakeholders and users to continuously improve products and programs.

• Define clear goals and objectives for the business in the planning and execution space while identifying risks and strategizing mitigation plans.

• Mentor other product managers and continuously raise the technical product management bar.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience technical product management

- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience in project management methodologies and managing senior stakeholders' expectations

- Sharp analytical abilities, comfortable with advanced SQL and basic Python

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field

- A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional technical projects that have been successfully delivered to customers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
