Principal Product Manager, QuickBooks Mid-Market

Mountain View, California

Employer: Intuit
Industry: Product Management
Salary: Competitive
Job type: Full-Time

People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally the stats are even more skewed. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.

The QuickBooks Online team is launching a new business offering to fuel the growth of growing mid-market businesses with more complex needs by becoming their single source of truth for running their businesses and also managing their finances.

As the Principal Product Manager for this new enterprise suite, you will define and build the next generation of end to end platforms. These capabilities will enable Intuit to better serve their larger mid-market businesses to not just save time and make real time business decisions, but also provide expert services as and when needed. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, designers, marketers, customer care, analysts and researchers to deliver best-in-class product experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute impactful product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales on enabling the sales pipeline for launch, including post launch activation/retention/upsell
  • Work with Sales and CS on tools needed to enable Sales and care teams to better serve these high value enterprise customers
  • Drive results through close partnerships with core teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and cross-business unit partners to deliver customer impact and business objectives
  • Lead the definition and execution of a product roadmap that supports the delivery of awesome end to end, mid-market-ready Financial Services capabilities (e.g. service delivery, upgrade/downgrade and purchasing flows, onboarding and retention flows, etc)
  • Build and own a quarterly rolling 12-month roadmap to deliver on business objectives
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technology synergies are understood and leveraged
  • Engage with multiple business stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured, most importantly across the other scrum teams
  • Write high quality user stories, using an agile approach, that represent a collaborative view on the direction for the technology platform as defined by development managers and architects
  • Leverage deep analysis of customer and site analytics to understand behavior and platform performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
