Key job responsibilities

As a Principal Product Manager - Technical in external fulfillment team, you will work with Tech Partners, Stakeholders, Product Managers, BIEs, and TPMs to develop the product strategy and deliver business requirements that will define the teams' vision and strategy. You'll own building a high level product roadmaps from design through to release. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with External Fulfillment business team, other AFT teams, world-wide fulfillment operations in an agile environment launching new features and experiences. Other key responsibilities include providing project progress to stakeholders, and pushing for appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project.

External Fulfillment

AFT's External Fulfillment team builds flexible, scalable solutions specifically designed for the needs of Amazon's emerging markets and businesses.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
