We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to help deliver the next level of intelligence that will help Amazon Marketplace Sellers to succeed and grow their businesses.
Amazon Marketplace enables sellers to put their products in front of hundreds of millions of customers and offers sellers the tools and services needed to make e-commerce successful, efficient and simple. Our team is responsible for building the core intelligence, insights, and algorithms that support a broad range of products and features that Amazon Marketplace Sellers depend on. We are delivering solutions to help sellers to prioritize the most impactful tasks for their business by bringing together petabytes of data from diverse sources across Amazon.
As the Senior PMT, you will be working side by side with a multi-disciplinary team of software developers, scientists, data engineers, and economists. You will have a high level of autonomy over a portfolio of products and features, where you will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of experiences that delight your customers. This is an exciting and varied position with a high level of scope and visibility. Day to day, you may find yourself researching trends, providing requirements and direction for product delivery teams, and diving into the feasibility of new products and features for the future. This position requires a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and familiarity with data science.
Key job responsibilities
- Define products by working backwards from the needs of different internal and external customers
- Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
- Establish goals, analyze metrics and product usage data to identify new opportunities
- Lead data analyses to identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
- Create the vision, product strategy and road map for our products and working with key stakeholders in the company to deliver on that vision

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
