As a Generative AI Specialist Sol. Architect, you will be at the forefront of driving adoption and revenue growth for AWS's cutting-edge Generative AI services. Your role will involve identifying high-value Financial Services customer opportunities and engaging with AWS customers to understand their needs and align them with AWS Generative AI solutions. You will leverage your consultative expertise to become a trusted advisor, guiding customers in embedding and deploying AWS Generative AI solutions to unlock new value streams and solve key business problems using powerful AI capabilities. You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of AWS's Generative AI services and relevant cross-functional areas to build strong relationships with customers. By driving the adoption of cutting-edge Generative AI technologies, you will play a pivotal role in propelling AWS's revenue growth while helping customers stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. You exercise learn & be curious to articulate AWS' Gen AI strategy and the services we offer to accelerate these workloads. You conduct compelling executive conversations on the transformational possibilities of generative AI and data, while also being capable of helping our customers navigate which services to evaluate for their use-cases. You can describe the "why" and "what" of generative AI use case and technical solutions at a 400-level, and providing detailed "how".

Travel is mostly regional, and is expected to be 20-25%.

Key job responsibilities

Interact with customers directly to understand the business problem, help and aid them in implementation of their ML ecosystem

Apply your deep expertise in GenAI prompt engineering, user experience design, data management and architecture to accelerate the development of innovative scalable end user productivity solutions that leverage GenAI

Ideate and showcase with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your deep technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.

Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, workshops, demos and proof of concepts.

Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.

Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent

- 9+ years of experience in creating and implementing AI/ML and/or GenAI technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent

- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)

- Thought leader in GenAI/ML

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
