Location: Annapolis Junction, onsite 3-4 days per week

Clearance: CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.

Description
ALTA is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer with experience as an ISSE/ISSO for a high priority and highly visible malware project. The individual will support a highly driven team of other engineers in sustaining and developing new tools and capabilities for this project. The position will provide a challenging dynamic environment that directly supports new mission capability.

Required skills/experience:

• Experience creating, updating and maintaining SSPs
• Experience with compliance and certifying a system
• Experience providing support to SSP re-accreditation
• Ability to provide STE/STN compliance support

Qualifications:
(U) A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience
OR
A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).
OR
A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience
OR
A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.

Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
