We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Data Scientist in our Medicare Stars Clinical Data Science Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing complex machine learning models in a Hadoop and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment to improve the quality of our Medicare Stars program. As the Principal Data Scientist, you will lead a team of data scientists and machine learning experts to develop innovative solutions that drive improvements in healthcare quality measures and performance metrics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, domain experts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, define objectives, and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment, preferably in healthcare or related industries.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with relevant GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters or Doctorate
Expertise in optimizing and scaling big data processing frameworks. Mastery in working with NoSQL and GCP databases for handling unstructured and semi-structured data.
Expertise in implementing MLOps practices for efficient model deployment and monitoring in the GCP environment.
Expertise in integrating machine learning models with existing systems through APIs in the GCP environment.
