Amazon Talent Aquisiton's (Amazon TA) Business Operation's team is looking for a passionate candidate to provide internal business operations management support for our team with a particular focus on Communications.

The Amazon TA organization is comprised of a diverse portfolio of businesses, spanning Workforce Staffing, Corporate Recruitment, High Volume Hiring and technical roles across the globe.

They enjoy spearheading new initiatives requiring coordination across multiple teams and expeditiously driving projects, discrete issues, and business priorities to resolution.

Key job responsibilities

This role is part of the Amazon Talent Acquisition business office with a high-level of visibility. In this role you will lead both strategic and hands-on activities to support communications and change across the Amazon TA organization in the areas of project management, organizational effectiveness, campaign management internal to the team and other functional areas critical to the success of the business. This role has a high level of ambiguity, requiring both a strategic and tactical approach to building communications and project plans and executing with a high degree of operational excellence. Managing experience is desired as this role will grow talent.

A day in the life

No two days are the same in this role. A typical day includes meeting with partners and stakeholders to drive priority activities to completion. You may be planning a project in an entirely new space or driving the communication to drive a critical business priority. Each day will bring a mix of opportunities we can immediately act upon, while others will require deeper collaboration, inspection, planning, and creativity. We do this as a team, and we have fun and stay curious along the way.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 7+ years of program or project management experience

- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $111,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
