Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Print Production Coordinator to join our team at our International Headquarters location in Boone, N.C. You can help the ministry with our enterprise applications every day! As a Print Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating print production schedules, printing specifications, and cost reports for internal budget approval for assigned ministry areas. A day in the life of a Print Production Coordinator:

In the role of Print Production Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
  • Coordinate print production schedules, print specifications, and cost reports for internal budget approval for assigned ministry areas
  • Lead communication between graphic artists, internal departments, and external print/mail vendors to achieve timely and accurate deliverables and mailings
  • Initiate requests for bids, customer quotations, and purchase orders for vendors
  • Assist with vendor relationships and print job details for small projects, and routes printed materials to various approvers
  • Notify designer, writer, Creative Services Manager, and Print Production Manager when all route responses have returned. Remind approvers when route responses are past due
  • Forward print proofs to appropriate designer and writer, tracks approvals, and updates vendors regarding approvals and changes
  • Develop database and maintain job log for assigned projects
  • Inspect and verify that completed deliverables meet quality standards in coordination with Creative Services Manager
  • Maintain display inventory and ensure components are fully functional
  • Gather and make shipping arrangements for components needed for special events

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Associate Degree (A.A.) from two-year college or university and two (2) to four (4) years related experience
  • General knowledge of print administration and tools used to track printed materials
  • 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire
