This position is a part of a larger team that provides Process Engineering support to Biotech and Pharmaceutical manufacturers that are designing facilities for new clinical candidates and existing products. Successful applicants will work closely with colleagues in the process group and other DPS departments to deliver projects for our clients. Our clients are primarily in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science sectors. DPS provides full EPCMV (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Validation) services for its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring designs from feasibility & concept development right through detailed design to construction and commissioning
• Prepare and update PFDs and P&IDs as part of process design development
• Generate specifications for process equipment, analyze vendor bids and provide technical analyses to our clients
• Perform calculations for pipe sizing, relief valves, utility analysis to support design basis for facilities
• Contribute to cGMP and HAZOP design reviews
• Continually learn about different technologies so as to deliver the best advice to our clients
• Use a range of software packages to develop process designs and analyze process problems

Education and Experience

• Chemical Engineering - degree preferred. Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering degrees may also be suitable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team with remote locations
• Maintain excellent attention to detail, possess organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
