TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must-Have:

Job Description:

Looking for an Associate Procurement Specialist to report to the Manager, Procurement Concierge. This person will be responsible for facilitating several aspects of the procurement process by conducting project intake calls, collaborating with procurement teams, initiating supplier onboarding, routing contracts for signature, monitoring project aging reports, and providing a high level of internal and external customer support. They will serve as the first point of contact to the Global Procurement Office; striving to provide outstanding customer service in every interaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Knowledge of Workdays Source to Pay processes and Procurement systems
  • Follow, incorporate, and improve upon multiple desktop procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Conduct project intake calls, ensuring all necessary information is captured accurately in inWorkday Strategic Sourcing (procurement system), finding any opportunity to provide training process clarity where necessary
  • Initiate onboarding with new suppliers, review information for completion, and create supplier accounts within Workday.
  • Facilitate routing contracts for signature. Create supplier and contract records contract repository and track them to completion.
  • Monitor project aging reports, identifying those that are at risk of exceeding SLAs,and following up with collaborators to promote progress.
  • Assess the training needs of internal customers, and support the training team in developing and enhancing training materials in support of delivering effective training programs.
  • Build strong and productive working relationships with team members and business partners.


Requirements :

  • Experience in Procurement, Operations, or business-related fields.
  • Customer service experience. Help desk experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Source to Pay processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task with the agility to change direction quickly and often.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines.
