About the project:
The individual hired will be supporting the production team from a logistical standpoint. They will provide support in various ways such as inputting data, updating stakeholders, and being a general link between the production team and other departments.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role:
  • As required for assigned projects, work with Production Executive to coordinate and communicate with outside production partners, Including:
  • Arrange meetings and conference calls regarding editorial content on projects as requested.
  • As assigned, assist in providing feedback to outside producers following evaluation of production schedules, treatments, rough cuts, fine cuts, and other materials, under supervision of EP, VP or SVP. Safeguard quality and accuracy of WBD brands and standards.
  • As required for assigned projects, work with Production Executive to coordinate and communicate with other WBD departments. Including:
  • Press - Provide treatments, episode descriptions, cuts, production delivery dates and shoot locations. Coordinate regarding promotable titles, Upfront programs, and TCA to include production personnel relations and presentation tape production.
  • Social - Provide treatments, episode descriptions, cuts, production delivery dates and shoot locations. Coordinate regarding promotable titles, shareable clips and other elements for the social team.
  • Programming - Provide episode descriptions, episode and show titles, program clips for as sales reels, delivery updates, and Upfront information. Develop alternative program titles, provide parental ratings, and recommend viewer advisories.
  • Awards / Competition - Provide required information for selected award entries and/or materials (includes information such as clips, episode and segment selection, program descriptions, credits, contact info.)
  • International - Provide production updates for shows with international investments, inform appropriate individuals of changes or fixes to programs that may be of concern to international networks.
  • Marketing & Promotions - Assist in selecting and distributing tapes, scripts, and artwork for promo editing and consumer marketing campaigns.
  • Respond to special requests from Viewer Relations, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, New Media, Marketing, Communications, Commerce, etc.
  • As assigned, assist in program reversions. Includes developing production schedule, working with Talent Relations to select and coordinate narrator/talent, working with editing department, collaborating with legal department to identify potential legal issues, rewriting scripts with EP or freelance writer and supervising off-line, on-line, narration record and mix sessions.

Must Have Skills / Requirements:
  • 2-3 years unscripted television experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple project at once in a deadline environment

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements:
  • Editing experience - simple projects in house projects using photoshop, acrobat, etc.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrated through past work
  • Comfortable working on a large team with regular reoccurring meetings

Education / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
