Chipton-Ross is seeking 20 Product Acceptance Specialist C's for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.
100% onsite
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
o Provides objective evidence of results.
o Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
o Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.
o Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
o Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
o Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
o Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
o Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.
o A&P License
o 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES.
o Composite fabrication experience.
o Structural work experience (wing work).
o Wiring
o Production testing experience.
o 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis.
o Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods.
o Experience in a team environment.
o Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
o 787 Program Experience.
EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
WORK HOURS: MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.
