Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Controls Product Engineer to join the team of one of their leading Automotive clients. These individuals will be joining the Chassis Controls Software Team, and will be responsible for restrengthening existing robust verification methods, support test execution, and demonstrate results through data analysis and reporting. This is a hybrid role in Dearborn, MI.
Specific responsibilities include:
o Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and vehicle
o Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause
o Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA
Store and retain documents and test records according to established guidelines

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field of study
• 3 years of experience with automotive embedded systems software
• Expertise with any of the following testing methodologies
D-Space, ECU, multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.
• Experience in vehicle controls or validation environments
• Exposure with module hardware & software architectures
• Experience with CAN tools
CANalyzer preferred
Jira experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred:
• Understanding with module emulators & interfaces
• Experience with calibration methodologies & tools
Tier II cert
