Insight Global is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our largest manufacturing client in the Austin, TX area. This person will be joining a team within their Electronic Materials organization, focusing on high speed interconnect products. This person will be collaborating with multiple teams, such as their testing and application engineering teams. They will be creating prototypes using 3D CAD software, performing mechanical design and development of electrical connectors, cable, and tooling. This role is 100% on site at their Austin location.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in a Science or Engineering discipline
- 3 years of experience using 3D CAD Software (e.g. SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD)
- 5+ years of experience of mechanical design experience
- Experience with high speed electrical cable/connector designs, and strong understanding of signal integrity concepts
