TK Elevator is seeking a Product Industrialization Manager in Atlanta, GA.

As a leader within TKE North America product operations, this position creates value as you manage the industrialization process for all product lines. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business to lead QCD industrialization activities on new development and current product support efforts from the development phase until the serial end of life to ensure efficient product line transformation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate the Industrial Engineer team in developing and executing industrialization plans in accordance with standards and program goals.
  • Own and manage the product change management process, create and drive industrialization scheme and industrial planning for all the product lines.
  • Participate and drive all aspects of product transformations including Make or Buy scheme, lead times, product cost, product cost breakdown structure, ERP with operational information, the manufacturing and test tools used by the vendors, Design For Manufacturing (DFM) rules application, etc.
  • Ensure documentation (PFC, PFMEA, Control Plans, SOP, Process Capability and SAP Documentation like MM, BOM, Routing, Product Costing) is created and executed, according to Project management planning and fully aligned to product Implementation process.
  • Guide design engineers in the engineering department to design and build the prototypes effectively.
  • Support the team with Transfer of Work projects and manage the overall Transfer of Work strategy.
  • To participate and drive overall manufacturing process planning, capacity planning, assembly line layout and test set-up planning considering annual volumes, and strategic sales plan.
  • Develop, maintain and be accountable for industrialization metrics.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering: Masters/MBA preferred
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, highly analytical, data-driven thinking with project management experience.
  • Certifications in Project Management and Change management required.
  • Technical Skills - Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing internal customers; skilled at change management; well-honed "radar" for stakeholder management. Comfortable with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant department in Manufacturing Industry
  • Strong understanding of new product development, product change and introduction
  • Product industrialization and should-be costing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes/industry practices, lean production principles, material flow optimization and continuous Improvement processes/VALUE ENGINEERING
  • Project management experience and leadership skills
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Must work well under pressure in international and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
  • Life cycle management of existing products
  • Experience in the elevator industry or a related field involving complex electromechanical systems
  • Demonstrated responsibilities in project management and PMO, identify and drive change and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
  • Familiarity with commodity management for expedited supplier onboarding
  • Influencing skills to persuade others to change behavior in pursuit of a common goal.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with leadership and peers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information to senior executives.
