Production and Inventory Control Manager

What Will You Do?

You will analyze and document current Manufacturing Operations processes and best practices providing insight to current methods to become the foundation of Gap Analysis. This position will develop, implement and maintain sets of standardized tools used to generate, execute and manage Manufacturing Operations on a global basis using a combination of technologies, RFID and directed work for manufacturing (Manufacturing Execution System - MES). You will manage, assist and coordinate with business managers in the search for breakthrough strategies that improve utilization by increasing throughput, inventory turns and reduction of cycle time ensuring on-time delivery of product to our customers. This position will travel to the various facilities to conduct training to assist in resolving identified planning issues.

What Do You Need?
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain Management or furniture processing/manufacturing, Required
  • Progressive production and inventory control methods and techniques
  • Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems experience
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Microsoft Excel: Development of advanced analytical files utilizing large datasets
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
