We are seeking a Product Manager for Grid Operational Performance to be end-to-end responsible for designing, creating and commercializing customer driven digital products and solutions to make a real impact in the energy market and the energy transformation. This role allows a product portfolio management professional to have a lot of variety in their day-to-day, to significantly drive change, work with a highly talented and diverse team, and to transform challenges into customer value.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Drive Grid Technologies' vision (grid of the future) based on connectivity, data and intelligence, as Product Manager - Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge
• Assume end-to-end business responsibility for the portfolio development to a successful market entry (create a scalable and profitable portfolio, going much beyond just shaping them at the concept level)
• Identify business opportunities, design, develop, and commercialize digital products that will drive customer value and generate additional revenue streams
• Collaborate and take a leading role to drive product development, customer operations and sales. You will develop partners and customers to speed up adoption and value generation
• Scan the market for new technologies, trends and possible partners and M&A targets to complement Siemens Energy's strengths, technologies, and competences
• Collaborate across departments to drive growth and value for our product, solution and service business

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, data science, mechanical/electrical engineering, or relevant education
• 5 or more years of related professional experience
• Strong understanding of digital technology as well as a customer centric mindset
• Previous application of digital solutions to optimize operation and cyber security of large fleets of assets (a plus)
• Entrepreneurial thinking

About the Team
At Digital Grid, we are creating solutions for future needs of the grid. We provide power system engineering expertise, to help our Customers identify, classify and mitigate existing and future power system risks. We integrate Internet of Energy (IoE) in our digital solutions to enhance performance of the grid monitoring, control and automation systems. We enable integration of renewables using next generation power electronic platforms and applications.
