JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fox News team is looking for a web associate product manager to join our digital product team. You will gather and articulate product requirements and develop a roadmap that supports business drivers such as growth, audience engagement, and strategic value. You will also identify key stakeholders and help define the product objectives through requirements gathering, specification documentation, and communication with other business units.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the web subject matter expert and push our user experience strategy forward
• Prioritize ideas and test bold product hypotheses designed to improve our ability to engage users on web platforms
• Deeply understand the technology behind our websites and become an expert in technology and approaches used in the market
• Build a strong list of features, break down product requirements into user stories, and create meaningful problem and solution statements
• Manage backlogs and own sprint processes - from planning to release - including regression, retro, and stand-up. Partner with technical managers and project managers to lead the development teams and QA resources. Provide guidance to developers and designers
• Use data to monitor changes and make data-driven decisions
• Drive new feature development from conception to launch with consistency across Fox News, Fox Business, & Fox Weather brands
• Work with vendors to tightly integrate them into our product development lifecycle

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• An understanding of the techniques and methods required of modern product discovery and product delivery
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, including, but not limited to, requirements definition, ticket creation, sprint management, and other rituals
• An analytical mindset, but keen on developing human-centered experiences and strong product instincts
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead
• Ability to communicate well, in both small and large groups
• Comfortable with giving and receiving candid feedback
• Comfortable working with multiple partners and teams: Design, Analytics, Marketing, etc. to define features

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $75,000.00-90,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
