Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced, self-directed Technical Program Manager to create and enhance the applications used to enable and support our growing Professional Services practice. This is a unique opportunity to define and design innovative processes and applications to enable the organization to scale its capabilities to help accelerate our enterprise customers' journey to the cloud. Are you passionate about solving business problems through data driven decision making? In this role, you will own responsibility for one or more major process and systems areas and will partner with stakeholders to define both the near-term and long term strategy for those areas. Your recommendations, based on data, will contribute deeply to the direction of the ProServe application roadmap and will provide the right balance of quick-win efficiency gains with the longer term optimization of the business. You will work closely with the global operations and field teams to achieve business objectives and communicate insights to key stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Conducting analysis to identify opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions.

• Requirements gathering, aggregation and development.

• Design and visualization of both functional and technical solutions with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Detailed business process optimization and design.

• Invent new ways to define and measure program effectiveness and organizational productivity.

• Root cause analysis and presentation of recommendations.

• Acting as the SME for one or more functional areas and delivering training in these areas.

• Performing regular system audits to ensure complete and accurate data.

• Contributing to the writing of papers for internal audiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent

- Deep experience with Salesforce and/or similar CRM applications including Certinia Professional Services Automation (PSA).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process

- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines

- Ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex and technical strategy to senior technical and non-technical leaders, both verbally and in writing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
