Team Introduction
The Closed-Loop Monetization Product Team is responsible for the TikTok Shop advertising solution, which helps TikTok Shop merchants grow their business on TikTok. TikTok Shop is an innovative shopping feature that enables merchants, brands, and creators to showcase and sell products directly on TikTok through in-feed videos, LIVEs, the product showcase tab, and the shopping center tab. TikTok Shop is now available in Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
Monday, June 9
Monday, June 23

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities
- Build holistic ad solutions for video shopping, livestream shopping, and product shopping based on affiliate creative supply in the TikTok ecosystem.
- Define product strategy and roadmap for TikTok Shop ads, managing your product's lifecycle from end to end.
- Collaborate with technical and nontechnical cross-functional stakeholders globally to define product strategy, build hypothesis-driven experiment frameworks, evaluate trade-offs and metrics, and lead the go-to-market strategy.
- Analyze and diagnose business problems, identify client pain points and priorities, and lead short- and long-term business strategy and implementation plans for TikTok Shop ad solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or related discipline.
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills, utilizing a facts and data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Highly analytical, with a laser focus on user needs. Proven ability to define a product roadmap in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty. Data-oriented, yet decisive even when limited data is available.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating a scrappy and proactive approach.
