Intro
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager/Technology at a mid-level to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, with a focus on backend systems/middleware and financial services/payment products. This role is pivotal in driving the modernization and transformation of our systems, ensuring alignment between business and IT stakeholders. This is a 12-month contract position.

Job Details
The objective of the Asset Transfer Team is to enhance processing efficiencies and simplify core Asset Transfer functions. This includes Cash & Securities Journals, Check Processing, Bank Transfers (ACH), Wires, ACATS, Non-ACATS, and Mutual Funds Transfer of Account solutions. The team aims to implement a strategic vision for the platform, focusing on design, requirements development, prioritization, development, testing, and certification activities.

The individual in this role will collaborate with key business and IT stakeholders to define scope, interpret requirements, and prioritize the modernization of these systems. The role requires a mix of business and technical knowledge to maintain business and IT alignment. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the banking industry, experience with the Agile framework, and an integrated view of their products.

What you'll do:
- Serve as the primary contact between our business and IT partners to ensure business requirements are well-documented and technical solutions meet business strategies.
- Conduct requirement-elicitation meetings with users, developers, system design architects, system integrators, and vendors.
- Partner with cross-functional business and technology teams to create process models, user epics/stories, and use cases.
- Understand business and technical dependencies between business areas and within systems that support or may be impacted by middle office functionality.
- Perform planning and scoping for several inter-related initiatives.
- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements.
- Facilitate and drive issue resolution and retrospectives between stakeholders.
- Develop expert As-Is knowledge of platform systems and help define To-Be system solutions and flows.
- Handle complex, high-profile projects across multiple domains, systems, and stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
- Support business implementation processes for new and/or enhanced system features.
- Support biweekly recurring production evening release activities.

- Securities Industry/Operational background preferred.
- Prior working knowledge of JIRA or related Scrum tools.
- Competence in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
