Team Introduction
We are looking for energetic product managers to join our TikTok Seller Commerce team. This team is focused on creating the end to end experience for Merchants who wish to join the platform, including Seller Onboarding, Seller Growth, Listings, Logistics, etc. The Seller Commerce team is also working on providing efficient solutions to improve the overall quality of life for Merchants on the platform.

We are looking for a product manager to focus on Merchant Growth. In this role you will be responsible for finding the key factors for growing the amount of Merchants who will be using the TikTok Commerce platform.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
It runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025

- Develop a deep understanding of our sellers (who they are, their goals, usage patterns, expectations).
- Leverage your understanding of sellers, data, and cross functional partners to develop valuable and delightful experiences. Ship products that build business and user value.
- Operate based on first principles and curiosity. You don't assume things or take the status quo for granted. You base your solutions on data, product instinct, curiosity and a hypothesis + experimentation driven approach.
- Build a systematic way of prioritizing work and creating a clear roadmap for your area.
- Strong execution on your roadmap, aligning and partnering with stakeholders and cross functional partners.
- Focus on growth: Be strong at interpreting nuances in data, conversion funnels, experimentation and use those to supercharge our growth.
- Bring clarity and thrive in an environment that evolves fast with a bias for impact.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a full time MBA or related technical field.
- Some hands-on product management experience through real world projects.
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills, utilizing a facts and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Highly analytical, with a laser focus on user needs. Proven ability to define a product roadmap in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty. Data and action-oriented, even when limited data is available.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a scrappy and proactive approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience conceiving, designing or building front-end interfaces, optimizing funnels.
- Interest in bringing technology, business, design together to create value
