Product Operations Analyst, AWS Business Product Operations

AWS Business & Product Operations is in need of a creative, dynamic and results driven analyst to help us support discount programs and private pricing contracts. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's passionate about managing operational processes, strict adherence to terms outlined in customer contracts and supporting both internal and external customers.
Key job responsibilities
Perform data entry, data management and pricing calculations
• Interpret complex pricing contracts and establish pricing structure to be applied
• Create and execute data quality programs and audits focused on standardization and accuracy
• Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
• Proactively identify and implement data (and operational) improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
• Retrieve and evaluate data using Excel, Salesforce.com, and other data management/BI systems
• Hands on data mining and to execute on projects
• Support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, accounting, or a related field
1+ year(s) of relevant professional experience
Experience retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, Customer Relationship Management tool (such as Salesforce.com or similar) and other BI systems
Background in contract creation/review and contractual verbiage
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations
Verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce.com
Experience working with custom private pricing contracts
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
