The Role

Our Retail and Consumer Consulting Practice is looking for a Product Owner/Business Analyst to join our journey.

We're looking for Product Owners/Business Analyst who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team within the Martech Organization . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and proven experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage user stories, tasks, and sprint planning & Backlog grooming.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Requirements Documentation:
    • Accurately document business requirements received through various intake forms.

Convert these requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO).

Ensure effective execution by Solution Architects and Development Scrum Teams.
  1. Clearly define and articulate all the Visual elements of Requirements like figmas
  1. Backlog Management:
    Create and maintain a backlog of initiatives , feature requests , product defects and enhancements
  1. Work with the Development to continuously refine and groom the backlog to a ready state of acceptance

Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to create comprehensive acceptance criteria.

Facilitate precise testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  1. User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
    • Actively participate in UAT to internally validate releases.

Demonstrate product readiness to external stakeholders through professional demonstrations.
  1. Release Notes Preparation:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed release notes in advance of product launches.

Ensure all updates are thoroughly documented for review and certification by Product Owners.

Requirements:
  1. Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Martech or related domain in the CPG industry.
  1. Agile Methodologies:
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar platforms for managing user stories, tasks, and sprint planning.
  1. Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to document user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes clearly and comprehensively.
  1. User Acceptance Testing:
    • Skilled at performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and leveraging findings to enhance product quality.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ensure alignment and informed product decisions.
  1. Work Environment:
    • Adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Able to balance multiple projects with a sharp focus on deadlines and deliverables.
  1. Additional Requirements:
    Experience with Figma is a plus

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the technology or CPG industry.

Martech Knowledge: Familiarity with Martech solutions and trends is highly desirable.

Position is in Atlanta, GA and candidate must be local to Atlanta, GA. Work from office 4 days a week.

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
