Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Product Quality Assurance and Failure Analysis Manager with extensive expertise in the entire semiconductor development flow. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive perspective on product development and will be responsible for managing quality assurance and failure analysis for all analog devices, ensuring timely resolution of customer incidents, and leading a testing team to ensure product availability for qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Quality Assurance and Failure Analysis for Analog Devices:
Manage communication with customers regarding quality issues.
Ensure cycle times for customer incidents are less than 14 days.
Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes of failures.
Implement preventive and containment actions to reduce risks to customer production.
2. Testing Team Management:
Ensure the availability of devices for reliability testing.
Manage the validation of test programs for various devices.
Oversee the reanalysis of all failures to ensure thorough understanding and resolution.
3. Dedicated Customer Support:
Act as the Product Quality Assurance and Failure Analysis Manager for a dedicated USA customer.
Guarantee failure analysis that identifies root causes and implements preventive and containment actions to mitigate risks.
4. Technical Support and New Product Development:
Provide technical support on quality issues to worldwide customers.
Participate in new product development and qualification processes.
Support failure analysis on returned products, from electrical characterization to fault localization.
5. Problem Solving and Reporting:
Lead problem-solving teams to resolve customer-experienced problems using quality tools such as 8D, Is-Is Not, and Fault Tree Analysis.
Collect data and write failure analysis 8D reports in support of returned product evaluations, reporting root causes, corrective, and preventive actions.
6. SOC System Integration and Testing:
Manage SOC system integration and ensure seamless operation.
Generate test patterns and design for testability.
Conduct ASIC prototype board lab work and SoC system debugging.
7. FPGA, Networking, Memory, and Microcontrollers:
Utilize expertise in FPGA technology, networking, memory systems, and microcontrollers to support product development and quality assurance.
Salary Expectation: $120,000k/year

Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years of experience in Failure Analysis
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with ASIC Chips
Experience with RMA (Return merchandizing authorization)
SOC System Integration
FPGA (Field-programmable gate array), Networking, memory, and Microcontrollers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with analog devices and semiconductor products.
