Volt is hiring a Product Service Engineer to be the main point of contact for the customer/dealer base and provide direct technical support as required to ensure customer satisfaction, machine availability, and product confidence. This position will work onsite for our client in Brimfield, IL in a Direct Hire opportunity.

As the Product Service Engineer, you will:

• Coordinate, manage and implement key customer site visits and meetings on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and manage Customer and Dealer related enquiries and responses to product related issues with assistance of relevant internal Departments and resources.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both Customer and Dealer related enquiries for the Mining product while utilizing necessary internal Departments and resources to best deliver prompt, reliable responses to Customer and/or Dealer enquiries, concerns or issues.
• Collect and analyze field data and incorporate product improvements to new and existing Mining product.
• Provide support to the Field Representatives during new Mining product commissioning and conduct follow-up meetings with internal Department heads.
• Maintain and implement product improvement processes.

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' work experience in heavy equipment (mining industry preferred).
• Must have an understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Unigraphics/NX preferred).
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to travel on short notice.

Salary: $90-100K annually *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
