• Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Identify problems and issues across the organization and define/lead programs.
• Influence team members and executive management to act and drive projects to completion.
• Launch and drive a wide range of high impact projects. Develop business cases and drive strategic decisions to support specific go-to-market projects via developing success metrics and owning reports back on the impact of initiatives.
• Engage and influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners, obtain buy in for potential solutions, adapt messaging and suggested recommendations, deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
• Track and report on key operational metrics, and provide insightful data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership based on analysis, experience, and good judgment. Investigate the root causes of business problems, providing solutions that go beyond superficial observations.
