Production Assistant

Our client, a Major Sports / Entertainment brand, is seeking a Production Assistant for their Sports Marketing & Content team! This role will play a vital role in supporting the production of diverse projects within a major sports entertainment brand's dynamic portfolio. This role contributes to the creation of compelling content that resonates with the brand's audience and aligns with its overall vision. The Production Assistant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of impactful and high-quality content. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, culture, and entertainment and has experience producing engaging content across multiple platforms.

• Onsite 5 days per week in one of three locations: NYC, Bristol CT, or Charlotte NC
• Hourly Rate Range: $28-33 per hour depending on experience and location

Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist in the creation of promotional marketing content across platforms including linear, digital, social media, and emerging formats.
• Set clear goals, manage workloads, and work collaboratively with creatives, editors, and production teams.
• Coordinate closely with teams in Creative Studio, Brand Management, Media, Production, and Programming to ensure unified messaging and branding.
• Manage production budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external production companies, agencies, and vendors to deliver top-tier content that reflects the brand's standards.
• Stay informed on the latest content production trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
• Strategically plan production schedules, balancing long-term initiatives with quick-turn projects.
• Ensure all content and marketing projects meet the brand's creative standards and align with its mission.
• Act as a brand steward, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
• Manage footage and clip-based projects with efficiency.
• Write marketing copy and scripts, allowing time for stakeholder feedback.
• Oversee the formatting and tracking of all deliverables, optimizing processes for efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing production, ideally in sports, entertainment, or related industries.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at fostering relationships across teams.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of articulating creative visions and gaining stakeholder approval.
• Proficient in production and editing software, with knowledge of emerging technologies and platforms.
• Solid understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing strategies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Passion for sports and storytelling, with a strong drive for creativity and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical proficiency in Adobe Suite and Premiere.
• A portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns and productions.

Required Education:
