JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox Business is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Production Assistant to join Making Money with Charles Payne . As a Production Assistant, you have great communication and organizational skills and work well in a collaborative team environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing setting and have a go-getter, solution-oriented mindset, this role is a great opportunity to launch your career in business news and learn industry best practices!

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and distribute graphics
• Pitch and research story ideas and see them through from start to finish
• Write teases, reporter intros, and guest intros for the show
• Edit and produce segments
• Cut video and compelling soundbites
• Post on Facebook

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• Strong digital and social media skills
• Experience with Dalet and other video editing software preferred

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $18.25-25.00 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
