Production Foreman

Job Description

Join our dynamic team, delivering innovative solutions for the global truck, trailer, and refuse markets! We are currently seeking a Production Foreman to work under the guidance of the Production Supervisor and the Director of Operations & Engineering. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee the setup and operation of CNC machining centers, centerless grinders, automated welders, and other fabrication equipment. You will also manage assembly, preparation, warehousing, and shipping & receiving activities at our Hayesville, Ohio facility.

What You'll Do

• Prioritize safety practices and precautions for yourself and others, adhering to company and industry regulations and protocols.
• Oversee team performance in areas of safety, quality, efficiency, behavior, and overall work output.
• Assign tasks based on the production schedule.
• Assist and guide team members to ensure smooth workflow and proper execution of tasks.
• Monitor employee efficiency, training progress, and compliance with procedures and protocols.
• Investigate issues related to safety, quality, efficiency, and job performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and activities.
• Ensure compliance with local and national labor agreements.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years working on Lean Manufacturing initiatives and projects
• 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment, with a proven knowledge of production processes, machinery, equipment, and tooling
• Demonstrated ability to interpret a product assembly drawing.
