Acquires basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures; generally, has little or no prior relevant training or work experience.

Microscope use a plus

TYPICAL DUTIES

Process stainless steel tubing of various lengths through different cleaning baths/solutions.

Use of water hoses and air lines for cleaning/drying of parts

Move material or carts of tubing between departments.

Maintain accurate records of the jobs performed including routers of in process materials.

Performs in-process inspection to ensure production meets required specifications.

Follows work instructions, written procedures, and job routers.




JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with various cleaning chemistries/ Hazardous materials (PPE and engineering controls in place)

Job may require standing, walking, bending, lifting for extended periods of time

Perform most cleaning operations/processes within the department.

Perform operations in a manner which will consistently meet quality and production standards.

Able to understand and follow OSHA regulations regarding the handling, storage, disposal of chemicals.

Runs multiple jobs at a time when time permits.

Perform routine PM / changing of baths as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach, balance, stoop, talk, hear.

Must occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds.

Work environment is that of a general cleaning room.
