In 2003, our manufacturing facility was established in the South Industrial Park of Terre Haute, Indiana. Beginning with just one assembly line, a handful of employees and 58,000 square feet, the company has grown to over 450 employees and 224,000 square feet. In addition, we have an office on northeast side of Indianapolis where the Procurement and Supplier Development Department, Business Development and Product Engineering are now located. We have a third location in Troy, Michigan which houses our Sales Engineering, Logistics Distribution Center for USA, and Customer Resident Engineering.

Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties:



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection and testing to assure the quality of assigned products and assembly lines.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Leads problem solving process (8D, SixSigma) for internal and customer issues.
  • Contributes actively to the reduction of failure costs (scrap, rework, warranty, etc).
  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
  • Prepares and presents technical information to team members and management.
  • Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
  • Stops production in case of a non-conformity.
  • Organizes containment activities to protect the customer and assembly lines from defective products.
  • Assists with PPAP activities of the final assembly.
  • Key member in the S2QDC process for assigned assembly lines and products.
  • Conducts process readiness audits and release of production after integrations and modification to assembly lines.
  • Perform LPA process audits.

  • Must have ISO TS 16949 training or willing to take this training upon hire
  • Knowledge of steering products, and manufacturing technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IATF and AIAG core tools requirements
  • Must be able to demonstrate skills in communication and relationship-building (internal customers, suppliers, management, external customers).



Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering or Engineering Technology; or three plus years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Computer and Technology Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office, GD&T, Quality control tools, Lean Six Sigma. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the usage of test equipment like hand gages, comparator, plug gages, various test stands, basic CMM handling.
