As our Bio-Rad Production Supervisor, you will oversee the production operators and technicians of this precision injection molding facility. You will plan and assign work to personnel, implement policies and procedures and work to continuously improve production methods, processes and working conditions while also maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Our Santa Rosa, CA site is a 24/5 operation. In this role as a Production Supervisor, you will provide oversight for the team that works the Monday through Friday swing shift; 2 pm - 10:30 pm.

The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for promptly and accurately getting Bio-Rad products into the hands of our customers. We maintain product integrity from end to end and respond expeditiously from the moment an order is received. As a result, customers around the globe receive the test kits, instruments, and consumable solutions they need - on time and in full to ultimately provide better healthcare and outcomes for their patients.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • You will manage the swing shift production team, ensuring that established procedures and policies are followed.
  • Schedule, assign and manage the daily activities of the team. -Manage production outputs to meet planned deliveries in accordance with priority.
  • Provide technical back-up to ensure machines stay running throughout the shift.
  • Troubleshoot production issues that arise, escalate as appropriate.
  • Actively communicates employee performance and provide coaching and training.
  • Responsible for meeting key metrics, such as production schedules, quality standards and production yields.
  • Interview and select shift personnel.

What you Bring:
  • You have a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
  • You carry 5-7 years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Full knowledge of injection molding.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, demand flow technology, production processes and related technologies.
  • Relevant certifications or training a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $112,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
