Production Supervisor

Hours: mid-shift 11am - 7pm, Mon-Fri (flexibility per demands)

Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a safe, ergonomic, and environmentally sound workplace that complies with all regulations and policies.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all daily activities across production cells.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and efficiency of the production process and personnel, including time and attendance tracking.
  • Execution of schedule and cost to meet customer expectations and business targets.
  • Workforce planning and forecasting to align with budget.
  • Training, coaching, and motivating production personnel.
  • Consistent review of area layout and flow management.
  • Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
  • Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and recommend improvements and innovations to the production process and methods.
  • Able to lead small teams in problem solving sessions or lean kaizen events.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher required with five (5) years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Medical device or nuclear medicine experience is a huge plus.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience necessary.
  • Advanced degree and related technical experience highly desired.
  • Skilled practitioner of Lean Manufacturing with proven track record of utilizing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement tools and methodologies needed.
  • Experience in operations management with knowledge of the production process, equipment, and materials preferred.
  • Proven track record of strong leadership and teamwork with emphasis on accountability a must.
  • Adaptability and resilience to cope with the changing production demands and challenges required.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, self-direction, and self-discipline in planning and accomplishing objectives and in meeting deadlines with limited supervision is expected.
  • Must possess a continuous-improvement mindset with a "Can-Do" attitude and actively seek solutions to problems, good team player with a pleasant personality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required. Experience with MRPs a plus.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and possess good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours during the weekday and on weekends as needed - is required to support Manufacturing Operations.


Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; must be able to sit and/or stand up to 8 hours per day uninterrupted, if needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
