A multinational banking client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. This is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to work onsite three days per week. This is initially a 6+ month contract position, with a high possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role.

Job Description: As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for our mission-critical production applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Skills Required:

• 8+ years of experience in production support.
• 8+ years of experience in Incident Management, job monitoring, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
• Knowledge of Ab Initio or any ETL tools.
• Proficiency in Unix.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials cloud with a focus on General Ledger or Accounting Hub Cloud Services.
• Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools such as Oracle Financial Reporting and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and teams.
