Seemann Composites is currently looking to add Production Helpers to our team. As a Production Helper you will work at our environmentally controlled 177,000 sq ft facility in Gulfport, MS. You will assist Production Technicians engaged in the manufacturing of parts and tooling. Essential Job Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Perform basic production tasks with close supervision
  • Able to learn new skills and progress in a steady manner
  • Must be able to read, write and follow instructions
  • Must be able to read a measuring tape and perform basic mathematics
  • Must be able to sew and operate a sewing machine
  • Must be able to use hand tools
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Must have a stable work history
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required

Desired / Preferred Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior Industrial Manufacturing experience
  • Ability to Operate a forklift
  • Two years' experience

Essential Physical Requirement:
Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, stretching, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment can vary but noise is usually low to moderate.

You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms. Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive collaborative communication with co-workers and work may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends. At times, the ability to work overtime also may be required.
