Production Test Technician III

Insight Global is hiring for a Production Test Technician to join one of our defense and aerospace clients in Ronkonkoma, NY. This opportunity is a 6 month contract and requires team members to be onsite 5 days weekly.

This role involves setting up and conducting tests on production assemblies and units according to established methods and standards. It includes laying out and assembling production equipment based on design specifications, adjusting and calibrating systems as necessary, and modifying equipment by adding or removing components as per diagrams and sketches. The job also entails troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts, using hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices. Additionally, the role may involve monitoring and verifying quality in line with statistical or other control procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience with production testing
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and Pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work on and around High pressure and combustible gases.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
