Production/Specialist Coordinator

We are seeking an organized, energetic, professional, and dedicated individual to work with our production team as an Event Production Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, computer and client service skills. This Individual must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Job Questions:
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Serve as primary contact with clients to coordinate event needs and deliverables
- Assist with sourcing, hiring and managing event staff
- Interact with and provide assistance to clients and related staff as needed
- Assist maintaining equipment inventory
- Maintain schedules for events and lead up technical setup
- Coordinate packing and shipping of event equipment
- Create technical documentation for engineering, operations, and IT
- Participate in production meetings and providing insight to clients and staff on event operations
- Coordinate distribution of technical documentation for engineering, operations, and IT
- Conduct research across varying areas such including new vendors, background data and venue information and garner an overall awareness of industry trends, players, happenings and accolades via major trade and editorial publications
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a sports fan: playing sports and/or watching sports
- Working knowledge of NBA, NHL, and/or NFL
- Minimum of 1 year experience in live event, film or television production, or computer/technical support required
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills possessing a keen ability to effectively communicate across internal teams, clients, vendors, temporary field staff and personnel
- Detail-oriented and well organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects across multiple disciplines effectively
- Able to work efficiently and productively under tight deadlines
- Able to work in a group environment or independently
- Able to work on evenings and weekends as required
- Able to travel up to 40% of the calendar year on a per-project basis
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Additional experienced preferred, but not required
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Previous experience working in marketing, creative services, event production fields highly desired
- Working knowledge of broadcast level equipment such as video cameras, switchers and other production equipment, as well as knowledge or experience working with specialized video production software
