The role you'll contribute:

The Professional Excellence Manager adheres to and follows the goals, philosophy, standards, and guidelines of AdventHealth. The Professional Excellence Manager is a specialized healthcare professional who reports to the department Director and collaborates with the Director and other leaders to provide leadership to the unit(s) promoting effective utilization of health care resources to achieve optimal long-term outcomes that reflects the policies and procedures of the facility. Participates in business line meetings to assist in dissemination and interpretation of measures, reports, and improvement initiatives. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Influences and assists in continuous improvement of service, safety, quality, and patient/employee experience by identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing highly reliable practices to ensure that AdventHealth Central delivers a consistent, mission-inspired guest experience.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Provides leadership and oversight for the planning, implementation, and coordination of the ANCC Pathway to Excellence Program. Including but now limited to advancing nursing and ancillary excellence in support of professional practice, research, education, shared leadership, and strategic plan.

• The Professional Excellence Manager functions as a leader and change agent responsible for activities related to professional practice.

• Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and overseeing the overall Pathway to Excellence (PTE) program along with designation/ re-designation process.

• Works closely with leadership and staff in executing the PTE initiatives.

• Responsible for submitting applications, monitoring reports and completion statuses. (PEP, PEP Legacy, and AEP)

• Assists with developing and implementing organizational strategies to support clinical and nonclinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership which are all essential to the Program and strategic plan.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare, Engineering, or related discipline (or currently enrolled in program).
