Professor of Chemistry

Description

The Department of Chemistry at The University of Chicago invites applications for the position of Professor of Chemistry. The appointee will be expected to conduct research in organic chemistry. The appointee will be expected to submit findings for publication and attend and present at various national and international conferences and professional meetings. The appointee will also be responsible for conducting graduate and undergraduate courses in Chemistry. Specifically, duties will include course preparation, review and grading of assignments, and academic advising of individual students as requested. The individual will also serve on departmental committees and contribute to departmental administrative affairs, as directed by the Chair.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in chemistry or related field.
