Duties
- Directly supervises and provides guidance and training to the BOSS President and Vice President on all assigned duties.
- Responsible for providing guidance and training to over 500 BOSS representatives on the installation.
- Oversees, plans, coordinates, and administers activities based on the pillars of the BOSS program, i.e. community service and recreation and leisure.
- Plans and coordinates special events assigned to the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DMWR), Recreation Division (RD).
- Solicits for sponsorship under the direct supervision of the installation MWR Marketing Department and develops a marketing plan for recreational programs.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
- This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
- Work schedule will be irregular. The incumbent will be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
- This position is designated as a Key Essential position for the purpose of deploying during contingency operations to support Soldiers.
- A one-year Supervisory probationary period may be required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
- Physical ability to work outside in heat, cold, dust, mud and wind.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk (sometimes on uneven surfaces) climb, kneel, stoop, push, and pull.
- Physical ability to lift and carry light to moderate weights up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- experience performing as the subject matter expert (SME) for the installation Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS), AND
- ability to manage multiple projects and determine priorities of work under the guidance of SOPs, APF and NAF BOSS regulations, AND
- ability to learn military correspondence procedures and deal with the public, AND
- excellent verbal and written skills in English, AND
- a working knowledge of basic software, budget formulation and administration.

Pay-Band (NF) Allowances and Differentials
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Night differential and Sunday Premium Pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander for Non-Bargaining NF positions and will not be paid to any Non-Bargaining NF employees.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will NOT be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
- Payband employees in pay levels NF-3 and above, are entitled to receive nonforeign area allowances and differentials in the same amounts and under the same eligibility criteria prescribed for APF employees in the same locality.
